Though Delbert may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Delbert touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. He was predeceased by: his parents, Viola Lipps and Dudley Woods; his stepfather Loyd Lipps; and his brothers, Mearl Lipps and Curtis Lipps.
He is survived by: his sisters, Audrey Swafford of Manchester, Ann Napier (Jus) of Charlottesville and Faye Smith of Danville, Kentucky. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great great nieces, and great great nephews; and many special friends.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Swiss Colony Cemetery (1 Swiss Colony Ln, London, KY 40741).
