It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Janet Cook of Old Town, Florida, who passed away on July 31, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Janet may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Janet touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carrol Bradley and Gertrude Bradley; and her husband Louis Nolan Cook. She is survived by: her stepchildren, Nola SooHoo (Tommy), Danny Cook and Peggy Hatch (Greg). She is also survived by many loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Rock Sink Baptist Church (471 NE 816th Ave, Old Town, FL 32680).
