She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorothy Houston and Bill Houston; her daughter Ursula Johnell Smith; and her brother Garey Houston. She is survived by: her husband John Shepard Smith; her children, Natausha Yoachum (JT) and Steven Long (Michelle); her grandchildren, Clayton Smith (Lexi), Haiven Grymes, Tara Endicott (Caleb), Preston Grieves and Buddy Long (Sierra); her great grandchildren, Sidelle and Remedy; and her siblings, Sue Nafus (Mike), Danny Houston, Rodger Houston (Judy), Bobby Elliott (Trisha), Dennis Elliott (Vickie), Cindy Smith (Jim) and Debra Joann Lindberg.
