He was predeceased by: his wife Martha Jean. He is survived by: his children, Patrick Murphy (Katie) of Louisville, KY, Maureen Murphy Brackett (Thomas) of Hudson, FL, Douglas Murphy (Catherine) of New Port Richey, FL and Steven Murphy (Renae) of Youngstown, OH. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; many friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Holloway Funeral Home (112 Bayview Blvd, Oldsmar, FL 34677). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Espiritu Santo Catholic Church (2405 Philippe Pkwy, Safety Harbor, FL 34695). A graveside service was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Florida National Cemetery (6520 SW 102nd Ave, Bushnell, FL 33513).
