He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Chambers and Edna Williams Chambers; and his siblings, Walter, Billy, Franklin, Ross, Thomas, Paul Chambers, Dixie Ruffattola, Margaret Chambers, Judy Elledge and Diana Cowsert.
He is survived by: his wife Flora Castellano; his children, John and Rosemarie Chambers; his grandchildren, Matthew Chambers and Jessica Chambers Blair; his great grandchildren, Silas, Will Blair and Lyra Chambers; his brother Benard Chambers; and his grandchildren-in-law, James Blair and Stephanie Eckert Chambers. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
