He was predeceased by: his daughter Karen Vanderhyde; his former wife Pamela Vanderhyde; and his wife Mary Brigman Vanderhyde. He is survived by: his children, Katherine Bailey (Vanderhyde) of Winter Park, Florida and Doug Vanderhyde (Dawn) of Newaygo, Michigan; his stepsons, Joe Spinola of Orlando and Angelo Spinola (Jodi) of Atlanta, Georgia; his significant other Jeanne Wessner of St. Petersburg; and his close friends, Matt Middlebrooks, Linda Dalkin of Alexandria, Virginia and Ross Spoelma of White Cloud, Michigan.. He is also survived by grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Ken's honor to the American Cancer Society, Moffitt Cancer Center, or a charity of the donor's choice.
