He was predeceased by : his aunt Barbara Ann; his parents, McKinley "Mic" Coffin Sr. and Sandra Jo Coffin (O'Brien); and his uncles, William S. "Ric" Coffin and Fred Bruschayt.

He is survived by : his brother Mike Coffin; his sister-in-law Melissa Baker Coffin of New Smyrna Beach; his cousins, Robin Coffin Vedder of DeLand and Kim Coffin of Mount Dora; his aunt Joyce Bruschayt of DeLand; and his friend Rick Boldonado of DeLand.
