He is survived by: his wife Lisa; his stepdaughter Jennifer; his daughter Karalea (Eric); his grandsons, Jacob and Oliver; his mother Ruth; and his siblings, Dagmar (Mike), Robert (Maria), Lenore (Kevin), Patty and Tony (Wanda). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Lester's memory be made to the ALS Association, honoring his life and legacy.
