He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil VanLandingham and Pauline VanLandingham. He is survived by: his sisters, Janice Chaplin (Robb) of Ponce Inlet and Judy Copeland (Mitch) of DeLand, Florida; his siblings' children, Kenny Lane of DeLand, Florida, Lizzie Ramirez (Jeff) and Rachel Chaplin of Los Angeles, California; and his aunt Lessie Wooten of Gastonia. He is also survived by his family, friends.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, March 5th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lankford Funeral Home (220 E New York Ave, DeLand, FL 32724). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, March 6th 2026 at the Oakdale Cemetery (800 N Clara Ave, DeLand, FL 32720).
