He was predeceased by: his parents, Irene Singer Stuart and William Harold Stuart; his wife Carolyn Sue Cauble; his son Jeff Stuart; his granddaughter Mackenzie Stuart; and his sister Allene Harrigal.

He is survived by: his children, Gregory (Carolyn), Vicki and Brad (Linda).
