Though Dennis may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Dennis touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnnie Ellis Hartzog and Hettie Irene Hartzog; and his sisters, Vonnie Strickland and Rhydona Skinner. He is survived by: his wife Jane Watson Hartzog; his children, Jan Whitesell (Tom) and Denise Getsy (Jeff); and his grandchildren, Liliana Whitesell, Stella Getsy, Lena Whitesell and JD Getsy. He is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
