She was predeceased by: her husband James E. Bates; and her parents, Thomas Brown and Irene Brown. She is survived by: her siblings, Thomas Brown (Linda) and Barbara Langston; her children, Chuck Bates (Kim) of Palatka Florida, Angie Harrell (Timmy) of Tallahassee Florida and Kim Dumas (Dan); her grandchildren, Jeffrey, Allan (Katie), Taryn, Tessa, Chase, Hayden and Colin (Megan); and her pets, Bon Bon and Stella.
