He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Davis and Lucille Davis (Lewis); and his brother Billy Davis (Frances). He is survived by: his children, Mary Frances Adams (Cook), Terry Lee Davis (White), Francis L. "Bubba" Davis, Jr., Christopher Allen Davis, Marie Alexander (Neil), Becky Drew (Don), Gloria Moheng (late John), Cathy Jo Ward (late Joe), Jenny Davis and Josh Davis. He is also survived by 31 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Brannan Field Baptist Church, Middleburg, Florida.
