He is survived by: his wife Joan; his sons, David (Lisa), Richard (Diana) and Robert (Vannette); his grandchildren, Breanna Wessel (Dan), Ross, Sophia, Matthew, Kirsten and Connor; his great grandchildren, Belle and Luka; his sister Cathy Bashore (Don); and his nephew Howard Dunn, Jr..

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hardage-Giddens Holly Hill Funeral Home (3601 Old Jennings Rd, Middleburg, FL 32068). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Luke Catholic Church (1606 Blanding Blvd, Middleburg, FL 32068). The military honors will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Jacksonville National Cemetery (4083 Lannie Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32218).
