With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gary G. Smith of Orange Park, Florida, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 14, 2025 at the age of 79. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gary G. Smith to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Gosta Smith and Carmen Smith; and his brother Gerald Smith. He is survived by: his children, Rebecca Farinella (Pat) of Jacksonville and Brian Smith (Amy) of Fleming Island, Florida; his grandsons, Michael Farinella (Jennifer) of Tallahassee, Matthew Farinella (Marion) of Auburn, Adrian Smith of Fleming Island, Florida. and Tucker Smith of Fleming Island, Florida.; and his great grandchildren, Anthony, Paul and Samuel Farinella. He is also survived by his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to Community Hospice of North Florida or High Point Community Church.
