She was predeceased by: her husband Vinny Sainz; her son Mathew Grillo; and her parents, Walter Sherman, Sr. and Henrietta Sherman. She is survived by: her children, Michael Grillo of Elizabeth City, NC, Alex Grillo and Lori Sainz of Elizabeth City, NC; her brothers, Walter Sherman, Jr. (Butch), Michael Sherman and John Sherman; and her grandson Sebastiano Grillo.
