He is survived by: his wife Marla Cason; his children, Ashleigh Cason and Alec Cason; his mother Darenda "Nena" Peck; his grandmother Evelyn Martin; his sister Amy Davis; his stepmother Mary Cason; his stepsisters, Deborah Garrett and Kathryn McWhirter (Paul); and his uncles, David Martin and R. P. Martin, III (Marty). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
