He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Reid and Viola Wright (Ryals); his wife Gladys Wright (Ferguson); his sons, John William Wright and Joseph Reid Wright; and his siblings, Morgan Frederick Wright, Willie Reid Wright, Jr. and Azalea Wright Wilson.
He is survived by: his children, Susan Skulskie and James Wright (Brenda); his grandchildren, Ken Britt (Nora) and Jamie Wright; his great grandchildren, Hayden and Bella Wright; and his sister-in-law Nancy Wright.
