He was predeceased by: his wife Claudia Ungerland (Battalino); his parents, John Sr. Ungerland and Jacqueline Ungerland (McLaughlin); his brothers, John Jr., Joseph and James Ungerland; his nephew Peter J. Ungerland Jr.; and his parents-in-law, Gilda and Em Battalino.
He is survived by: his siblings, Peter Ungerland Sr. (Marianne), Jackie Dickinson (John) and Mary Boston (Bud); and his siblings-in-law, JoAnn Ungerland, Stacy Ungerland and Terry Battalino. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
