He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Delano Schaffer and Barbara Louise Penberth. He is survived by: his children, Tanya Schaffer (Brian Cathey), Salena Roche (Stephen Roche) and Samuel Schaffer; his grandchildren, Isla and Landon Roche; and his siblings, Michelle Getz and Jim Schaffer.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Jacksonville Memory Gardens (111 Blanding Blvd, Orange Park, FL 32073). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
