He was predeceased by: his parents, James Martin Gaffney and Barbara Stewart Gaffney. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Owenby Gaffney; his daughters, Barbara K. Gaffney (Joseph) of Denver, Margaret E. Gaffney-Cooke (Bruce) of Jacksonville and Jennifer C. Gaffney (Bob) of Detroit, Michigan; and his grandchildren, Willamina and James.
