He is survived by: his wife Christine; his brother Bernard; his stepdaughters, Audriane "AJ" Turner (Willie James) and Melody Alexandra Jones; his grandchildren, Cortni Jackson, Mitchell Jackson III and Jamey Turner; his great grandchildren, Christina George and Mitchell Jackson IV; and his siblings-in-law, Alie Oliver (Lula), Ida Brown (Sam) and Ava Baker. He is also survived by nephews and nieces.
