He was predeceased by: his parents, James Deacon and Dorothy Deacon; his siblings, Charles, Patricia and Diane Richards; his siblings-in-law, Thaddeus Kulka (Ted), Thomas Richards (Tom) and Jean Deacon; his niece Karen Richards; and his nephews, Patrick Deacon and Dennis Deacon II.
He is survived by: his brothers, Jim Deacon (Jane), Dennis Deacon (Georgine) and Glen Deacon; and his children, Rachel Deacon, William R Deacon II, Anne Marie Chiarelli (Justin) and Ericka Deacon. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews and one great-great niece.
