He is survived by: his wife Elena Colón; his daughters, Elizabeth Olivera and Angelica Olivera; his parents, Eduardo Olivera and Yolanda Cassella; and his siblings, Virginia Moore and Gustavo Olivera. He is also survived by nephew, and nieces, in addition to his loving extended family.
