He was predeceased by: his mother Elaine Liotta Romanzi. He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline C. Romanzi; his children, Alexander C. Romanzi Jr. and Sydney L. Romanzi; his father Ignatius Romanzi; and his sister Elena Rizzuti (Phil). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to the Amazin' Mets Foundation in Alex's honor, as a tribute to his lifelong love of baseball.
