He is survived by: his spouse Dr. Wynant Watty-Benjamin; his children, Rochelle, Alford Jr. and Mandy; his granddaughters, Amariah and KaiLeigh; and his sister Francisca Royer Laville. He is also survived by other siblings, relatives and friends.
