With sadness, we share the passing of Charlotte Cox of Orlando, Florida. Charlotte, born on May 25, 1930, passed away on September 29, 2026. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Charlotte Cox to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred E. Boyers, Sr. and Ressie M. Boyers; her husband Burl Edmond Cox Sr.; her son Wendell L. Cox; and her siblings, Nancy Perry, Charles Boyers, Alfred Boyers Jr., Cornelia Good, Louise Whitmore, Ralph Boyers and James Boyer.
She is survived by: her children, Ouida Raaz, Thresa Abbott and Edmond Cox Jr.; her grandsons, Tyler Mitchell Cox and Bryce Edmond Cox; and her brother Stephen Boyers.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Chapel Hill (2420 Harrell Rd, Orlando, FL 32817). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Chapel Hill Cemetery (2400 Harrell Rd, Orlando, FL 32817).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Charlotte's memory may be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation at komen.org, in honor of her strength as a breast cancer survivor.
