He was predeceased by: his daughter Trena Ann Cater; and his parents, Ann Cater and Alfred Cater. He is survived by: his daughter Rose Ann Marie Brewer (Ricky) of Mount Carmel, TN; his stepdaughter Cristy Griffith of Brazoria, TX; his siblings, Alfred Cater of Orlando, FL, Anne Gregg (Earl) of Montverde, FL and Gale (Ron) of North Port, FL; his niece Kelly Cater; his nephews, Kevin Cater, Michael Gregg (Tracey) and Jeffrey Gregg; his great-nieces, Samantha and Jordan Gregg; and his friend Marie Cater.
