He was predeceased by: his parents, Wendell Purvis and Velma Jean Purvis (Bacon); and his brother David Purvis. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Purvis (Hooks); his children, Geri Lynn and Nathan (Nikki); his grandchildren, Noah, Nash and Natalie; his sister Debra Lucius (John); his siblings-in-law, Steve (Sharen) and Shirley (John); and his nieces and nephews, Doug, Chris, Stephanie, Stacey and Jordan.
