He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis A. Walker and Elizabeth Garrett Walker; and his brother Gary Walker. He is survived by: his wife Judith; his daughters, Kendra and Jessica; his sister Patricia; his grandchildren, Kesia and Clayton; and his great grandchild James. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
