She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon A. Grandia and Freida B. Grandia (Bottger); her son Randy Carney; and her brother Luther Grandia. She is survived by: her husband Robert Lee "Bob" Carney; her daughters, Penny Watzka (Peter) of Orlando, Mary Shepardson (Chuck) of La Quinta and Patty Knight (David) of Winter Garden, Florida; and her grandchildren, Justin Watzka, Kirby Filar (Jesse), Kylie Drummond (Nate), Garrett Watzka (Jo Jo), Corey Shepardson (Kalyn), Kyle Shepardson (Cossette), Sarah Oliva (Greg), Erin Knight (Maura), Taylor Knight, Katie Cardenas (JC) and Robert Knight. She is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
