Guy Samuel Bowens Jr. Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Guy Samuel Bowens Jr. in Orlando, Florida, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 13, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Bowen and Vena Bowen; and his in-laws, John and Mary Patterson. He is survived by: his wife Ruth; his son Joshua; his daughter-in-law Melissa; his grandchildren, Eleanor "Ellie" Rae and Alden Ray Bowens; and his siblings, Geneva Steward (Sandy), Anita Bowen, Parfina Heizer (Bill) and Ricky Bowen (Yvonne).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cumberland Funeral Home (207 Mabee Ave, Monteagle, TN 37356). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
