He was predeceased by : his parents, Hans Raymond and Ena Lucille Rasmussen; and his sister Barbara. He is survived by : his wife Betty Willaims Rasmussen of Orlando, Florida; his daughter Linda Rasmussen; his stepdaughters, Barbara Dunagan, Dyan Rhea-Hooks and Tia Overstreet; and his siblings, Kenneth Rasmussen and Phyllis Tegeler. He is also survived by his 9 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren.
