He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Joan Hester; and his parents, Houston Hester and Nellie Hester. He is survived by: his sons, Jay and Ted; his daughter-in-law Vonda; his granddaughter Amanda; and his cousin Judy. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews; and several dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (895 S Goldenrod Rd, Orlando, FL 32822). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Greenwood Cemetery (1603 Greenwood St, Orlando, FL 32801).
