She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Miller and Amy Miller (Swetland); and her daughters, Dawn and Cheri Pierce. She is survived by: her children, Leon Pierce of Clearwater, FL, Duane Pierce of Monson, Roberta Kim Hughes (Robert) of Monson, Beverly Pierce of Chicopee and Tracy Pierce of Enfield, CT; and her sister Clara "Tessie" Devorchak of Monson. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Joan's name can be made to the Miller Memorial Park through Country Bank in Palmer.
