He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph R. Mackie and Frances Campbell Mackie. He is survived by: his wife Linda Massey; his siblings, Joe Mackie and Anne Mackie; his nieces and nephews, Jessica Lindsay (David), Jacqueline Perry (Darryl), James Passey, Paul Ostby and Jay Ostby (Sarah); and his great-nephews, Cooper Lindsay, Alyn and Beckham Ostby.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Edmonds Waterfront Center (220 Railroad Ave, Edmonds, WA 98020).
