He is survived by: his wife Gloria Jean Smith; his children, William (Donna Smith), Greg (Catherine Smith), Lisa (Eric Hobbs) and John R. (Nicol Smith); his grandchildren, Nicholas, Marissa, Christopher, Elizabeth, Mallory, Kristin, Joshua, Adam, Jessica, Jacob, Joseph, Erica, Justin and Cameron; his great grandchildren, Addison, Owen, Lucy, Bella, Jack, Mabel, Emilia and Hartley; and his brother Steve Smith.
A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 11:30 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the St. Jude Maronite Catholic Church (5555 Dr Phillips Blvd, Orlando, FL 32819).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in John's memory to St. Jude Maronite Catholic Church.
