He was predeceased by: his former wife Alice May Meisenheimer; his parents, Kermit John Meisenheimer and Alice Velda Yonaka-Long; and his grandson Xu Chi. He is survived by: his wife Winnifred; his sons, John "Lucky" Meisenheimer Jr. MD Orlando (Jacquie) and Ben Alan Meisenheimer, MD (Jenny); and his grandchildren, Maylin, John VII, Jake and Maximus Meisenheimer.

Instead, the family asks that in lieu of flowers or donations, you take your loved ones out to dinner and give a salute to all lives well lived.
