He is survived by: his wife Kathy Pratt Johnson; his children, Carolyn Johnson Murray (Daniel Murray) of Birmingham, Alabama and Joseph Daniel Johnson III (Kristen Johnson) of Maitland, Florida; and his grandchildren, Grayton Johnson Murray, Benjamin Daniel Murray, Parks David Murray, Emily Grace Johnson and William Austin Johnson.
