He was predeceased by: his former wife Theodora Pretsch; and his sisters, Phyllis Ober and Anne Parkin. He is survived by: his wife Kim Williams; his son Kyle Pretsch; his brother Richard; his sister-in-law Patricia Pretsch; his nephews, Richard, David and Michael; and his niece Jennifer.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Karl's memory to Memorial Sloan Kettering, the Make-A-Wish Foundation, or the Allied Pilots Association Pilots Care Program.
