She was predeceased by: her parents, John William Johnson and Ila Ione Young; her husband Earl Eugene Johnston; and her in-laws, Earl and Ruth Johnston.
She is survived by: her children, David Johnston (Lynn) and Joni Wallace (James); her grandchildren, Matthew Johnston (Melissa) and Jessica Benfant; her great grandchildren, Elijah Johnston, Noah Benfant, Caiden Benfant and Olivia Johnston; her stepgrandchildren, Justin, Zac Stowe and Jennifer Tyson; and her sister Mary Ann Frith. She is also survived by 10 step-great-grandchildren.
