We announce the death of Maria Victoria Chernez in Orlando, Florida, who passed away on August 27, 2026, at the age of 89. Maria will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Maria will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Maria’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her children, Julian Martinez Jr. and Maribel Rivera. She is survived by: her husband Jose Otton Chernez; her son Guillermo Martinez; her brother Jose Sanchez; and her nieces, Maritza Muniz and Martha Soto.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Baldwin-Fairchild Funeral Home (7520 Aloma Ave, Winter Park, FL 32792). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
