She was predeceased by: her parents, John Tracy Turnbow and Mary Jerlene Turnbow; and her siblings, Jeffy Yates, Ruth Askew, Howard Turnbow, Brent Turnbow, Robert Turnbow, Norman Turnbow, Jewell Turnbow and John Turnbow.

She is survived by: her husband Dale Carpenter; her children, Jayson Carpenter (Fior), Carol Bowden (Michael) and Ken Carpenter; her grandchildren, John Mark Bowden, Hannah Harriet Nixon (Tim), Jayson Bowden (Madison), Alex Carpenter, Natasha Carpenter and Michael Carpenter; and her great grandchildren, Timothy James Nixon (TJ) and Heath Nixon.
