In the sacred silence of farewell, Matthew is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Matthew's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He is survived by: his son Liam (Austin); his parents, Mark E. Sand and Leslie Sand; his brothers, Justin Sand (Allyson), Ryan Sand and Christopher Sand; and his siblings' children, Jack Sand, Joey Chiappa and Kate Sand. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church of Orlando (106 E Church St, Orlando, FL 32801).
