He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Joseph Svoboda and Julie Bessie Svoboda; and his brother Roman John Svoboda (Evelyn). He is survived by: his wife Ann Taylor-Svoboda; his sons, Matthew Norman Svoboda (Noreena) and Andrew Joseph Svoboda; and his grandchildren, Mikaylen Riley Svoboda and Carsten Matthew Svoboda.
