He was predeceased by: his parents, Lorenzo Rivera and Maria Rodriguez; his daughter Brenda Tallent; and his sisters, Maria Dolores Rivera and Basilia Rivera.
He is survived by: his wife Raquel Alicea; his daughters, Annamarie Guynup, Johanna Ramos (Ambiorix) and Maria I. Ramos; his brothers, Jose and Antonio Rivera; and his grandchildren, Jessica Griessemer, Gregory Griessemer, Kristi Sundal, Jeremy Peter Rivera, Jasinez Chacon, Thaiz M. De Jesus, Yamila I. Uribe and Ezabel Torres. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church (5900 Oleander Dr, Orlando, FL 32807). The military honors will be held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Cape Canaveral National Cemetery (5525 US-1, Mims, FL 32754).
