It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rafaela Camilo Santana of Orlando, Florida, who passed away on June 20, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, may Rafaela Camilo find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may her legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fortunato Camilo and Tomasa Santana. She is survived by: her children, Jose Antonio Mendez, Luis Angel Mendez, Luz Selenia Mendez, Jannette Mendez and Myriam Mendez; and her children-in-law, Julio, Juan, Gerardo, Luchie and Diana. She is also survived by 12 Grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, 12 great-great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Good Life Funeral Home & Cremation (8408 E Colonial Dr, Orlando, FL 32817). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
