He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Ballard and Ruth Brady-Ballard; his stepmother Audrey Stanton-Ballard; and his sisters, Gloria Ballard-Sargent and Ellen Ballard.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Ballard; his children, Chris Ballard, Andy Ballard and Kim Ballard-Driskell; and his brother Ed Ballard. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren who will miss their Papa.
