He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Bernard Dickerson and Martha Dickerson; his daughter Jesse (Ron); his granddaughter Ellie; his wife Patty; his stepchildren, Kari Caviglia (Ted) and George Ward (Dusty); his grandchildren, Jalyssa, Dominic, Bryce, Maddie and Theo; his sister Donna Dickerson Sartor; his siblings-in-law, Jan, Bob and Bill; and his nieces and nephews, Wendy, Kim, Bo and Sean.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in honor of Rick.
