He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Syx and Ola Mae Odear; and his brother Randal Syx. He is survived by: his wife Carol Syx; his children, Roger A Syx II (Pam), Shannon Brown (Jim) and Kelly Billish (Joe); his grandchildren, Allen Syx (Kara), James Syx, Kaylynn McCarroll (Micah), Justin Brown (Candace), Amanda Billish and Maegan Brown; and his great grandchildren, Nolan Syx, Belle Syx and Jase Brown.
